Hi folks, I've got 50 1.8m x 1.2m sheets of steel to spray, and a real small workshop. Any ideas on racking or stacking these so I can spray more than four at a time...It's taking FOREVER.
Cheers!

Lee... I like metric too..just a note to say so...it's so acurate...USA needs to switch..we dang near did it a few times! Did you already buy the material? If not...consider aluminum/baked enamel finish..steel rustes..loomium dont If you already have steel..is it cut to size...if not spray whole pieces....then apply app tape and shear..... If you have a @#$%^&house fulla lil panels.... build some racks.... OR......vinyl for field....????? GIT paid..good..this is a PIA job......

Hi Lee, my old shed was very tight on space. I used 4 pine studs, braced them, drilled heaps of parrallel holes and threaded with tie wire. You could also use (clothes hoist) rope or dowel.Worked great for me, quick to make and inexpensive! Keeps the air flowing with not much dust. Why not colourbond?

Extention ladders(layed flat) spaced with cement blocks or the like between them make great drying shelves. Also stacking boards and blocks.

Send them to a paint shop for powder coating or baked enamel. We do not paint anything. Leave it to the professionals. In the long run it's more cost effective. Do you have a proper paint booth? all of the nescessary PPE? do you have an MSDS for EVERY different can of paint in your building? Do you have explosion, fire proof cabinet storage. Is your exhaust fan explosion proof? I hate all of this regulation. I have corporate customers that demand these things be in place.
