Check out "tips & tricks", here he says "cover a sheet of corex with vinyl dry" infact he says this should ONLY be done dry !!

Well now,I hope someone else here has done this(as I have) WET !!
The little "flutes" on the surface of the corex must scare most people with visions of air or liquid traped between the vinyl and the bottom of these little canyons(flutes), well with soap & water that truly would be a disaster, heck even with "posistioning fluid it would be no better.
But I'm refering to a "Application fluid" not a posistioning fluid (giant difference).
Rapid Tac application fluids(2 different formulas)
will stimulate the vinyl to bond DOWN IN THOSE LITTLE CANYONS(flutes) as fast as anywhere else!!

So why do you have to go to all the procedures of doing it dry ? YOU DON'T

Just clean corex with Rapid Tac (or TacII) and a cheap paper towell, spray corex again(wet) throw the damn vinyl down, move it into posistion, squeege it firmly, wait 90 seconds, spray trans tape(if used) wait 60 seconds, now pull tape back over itself(so as not to pull preasure against the vinyl which is now bonding tighter&tighter)

You are done,no bubbles, perfect alignment, dosn't take 2 people and you can imediatly clean it up and hand it to your customer or anything else you had in mind for it,Ha ha ha ha ha ha hah ah

Hi there
Thank you for visiting our new UK sign website.
I agree mikethesigns step-by-step is really great.
I have seen Mikes work and some of his stuff is truly amazing.
The step-by-step is only the first of many. Mike will be adding more very exciting effects created by vinyl. If you are serious about your vinyl graphics then I suggest you check out his work. Mikethesign is known throughout the Untied Kingdom for his unique style when creating computer cut graphics from vinyl.
We are glad to have him aboard at the uksigngroup.com along with mikes; we will be having lots more step-by-steps covering various aspects of the trade so keep checking us out.
Once again I thank you for visiting our UK website & I welcome anyone else to stick there head in the door & say hi on our boards.

See you all there

P.s. Steve! Keep up the excellent work that you have done on your boards. We hope one day our boards may be as successful

Thats an interesting effect. Sure seems like it would be one hell of a lot of work though to create all those shapes and pits - unless there is some hidden 'rock' tool in Corel I dont know about.

Still, interesting none the less. Not a lot of detail there at the site though.

Gail and Dave, thats probably because you never tried Rapid Tac ,its more then "a fluid"

Most application fluids are just that(fluid) I agree, but R.T. products are much much more.
Posistioning fluids are only going to SLOW you down, like soap&water.

I've stayed blissfully dry most of my time at it, but no, I haven't tried Rapid-Tac (it's a vinyl enhancer AND a mouthwash). I'll endeaver in the future to give it a go.
