Very good Linda, is really that hot? I must make a point of not planning a trip in the summer.
Always wanted to visit your country, almost made it until we had the twin tower disaster.

Don't let it put you off Bill, generally its pretty good, everyone has had a whinge this Summer though. It's a great place but this years weather has been bizarre.
I saw this email and had a good chuckle......something missing around her lately.
I would be quite reluctant to hop aboard a plane now too!

YES!!! hahahaahahahaha It does get that hot.. and the shade thing with the cars? THAT'S SO TRUE!!

Why do you think I want to come to america so badly in march? Coz it's cooler there! (though it is sorta cooling down in march, too..) Oh, of course, that is besides the fact that I want to meet you all so badly!!

Come down in Spring or Autumn Bill. Preferably our Spring time .... September/October. Besides, that's when our National Letterhead Meet is held See you in Sydney this year?

Warmth does have it's advantages I was able to undercoat, paint backgound and double coat enamel lettering on a wall sign all in one day Problem was the plank was so hot I had to put on work gloves to lift it on the ladder racks hahahahha.

Hay Linda,

We have that in August here in Georgia hehehe!

It would be too wierd for me, to see snow in July and jump in the pool on Christmas!

I loved the examples you gave us, some of them I've never heard before, like the trees whistling for dogs and feeding the chickens crushed ice hahaha!

Thank you so much!

On one particularly hot day through the holidays I had to mix cold water from out of the fridge with tap water and spray my pet bird and also the kookaburras that sit on the back verandah to cool them off. They couldn't get enough of it. I have decided now to go to the states next Christmas.

Geez, I was just sharing a 'funny' didn't expect everyone to leave home! Compared to N.S.W where I came from, the weather was great.Though the humidity in Bundy sure takes some getting used to. The spray bottles in Summer are great for people and the pets alike!

Hi Gail and Steve, thanks again for the very generous invite. I really was planning to be there, but medical problems kept me away. I still hope to make the trip one day before I get to be too old.
How can you get to be too hot when you are so very cool?
