My brother in the UK uses a product he calls Vehicle wrap (mactac?) It is a cross between cast and calendered vinyl it is approx 100microns thick it comes in about 10 colors and is removable. He uses it to completely cover vehicles with digitized graphics. It has the ability to be stretched into tight curves if needed. When removed years later the paintwork is like new.
I live in Australia and don't think this product is available here. Can anyone tell me if they have used it and if it is available in Oz. If not maybe there is a supplier who can give me more details or a contact to get this info. signs4u@bigfoot.com

Sounds like it's something like 3M Controltac with the removable adhesive. Avery makes something similar as well.

I believe it would be 980 series MacTac ive used a fair amount of it.... holds up well...


Easily found in Canada...
