I don't know what the rest of you do with your reflective scraps but I put them on everything, (tape measure, hammer, knife, boxes, etc.)
It's really handy when you are out on a job working late and it's gotten dark - now where did I put that... Just flip your flashlight out and your missing tool shows up instantly
I also put strips on the door jambs of my vehicles. When opening the door at night it makes me feel a little safer.
