Sam, get your hands on a sign trade magazine and you will find an add for what you are looking for.
Try a sign supply for the magazines or an art store. Last resort would be to contact an English Letterhead. There are many over there.

Check with Mulholland Harper Company, phone (800)882-3052. They are about 3 1/2' or 4' long, about 18" or so wide and stand about 18" or 24" tall. They are internally illuminated.

Speak with Joe Raffa, he should be able to fix you up with what ever you need...

Here is a link for a taxi-sign/fare meter supplier in the US. They should have what you are looking for...

Samsam

Ive seen roof signs advertised for driving schools,in shaped fibreglass etc but never illuminated signs to fit along the sides

Cant say as they would be legal here -I beleive your only allowed to show a white light to the front and red to the rear ,amber on the side.

If they were legal
many would be using them. Make enquiries about their legality-
you'll probably have to settle for something none illuminated.
Contact a manufacturer of fibreglass signblanks

Good luck
Terry
