Does anyone here use EngraveLab? It's put out by CadLink/SignLab. We recently acquired it as we are planning on adding a laser engraver, but we wanted to get over the learning curve of the software before an expensive machine came in the door. We were told by the sales person that it's a must have.....we could use it to run our Meistergram rotary engraver and our vinyl plotter. Sure, in theory it is a great idea, but this program seems to be pointing more towards the vinyl end rather than the engraving end.
Do they allow for returns on something like this?
Am I being too critical? Is there something other than the thick manual I should be studying?!
Thanks!

Hi Mike...We use ProfileLab, which is SignLab 5 with the ability to write files for our router. I believe EngraveLab is very similar. We have had a couple of problems, but overall I like the program. The advanced nesting module is one feature that really saves time. To learn the program quickly you might check out the Rob Ivers videos. When we bought our program, Cadlink had a return policy. ...That having been said...I have been looking at lasers for a couple of years now. From what I've been told most of them will run with CorelDraw.
