Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who got what I was trying to get across in the earlier post. #1. I didnt ask for any clipart. #2. Someone else did. #3. I dont need clipart to perform my work, it is a tool that is used just as a brush is. #4. I hand lettered signs for many years before adding vinyl to our shop. #5. Too many of you still dont have a clue. #6. Thanks to all who emailed me directly, only 1 posted against was I was saying. #7. Everyone else understood what I was trying to say and to them I say thank you and keep in touch. #8. to everyone else I say goodby. To many snobs here, not like it used to be at all.

Kevin, The whole thing started over "clipart", but you say it didn't involve clipart. Guess I really didn't get it. Oh well, tomorrow is another day, and I have a truck to do. Cya!

Excuse me if I missed something here, but what is the reason for sending off Kevin like this? He gets into a little bit of a fit about how he perceives to be treated and its so long buddy.
Lots of people have done that here, and we let them cool off a little don't we?
Bogart that joint Jackson, maybe he doesn't want it.

Two more Illegal Calvin posts...and a couple illicit drug references by a few burnouts. I'll tell you what I tell my kids: Drugs make you stupid...
Osama Bin Laden gets money for his terrorist warchest by cultivating opium and selling it to dickheads in the US willing to buy it. Noriega did it with dope and cocaine too.
And people wonder why kids are "troubled" these days....
Saying it helps your art is a ****poor excuse to continue being a weak-minded addict.

Dude! get a grip!
Before you start tossing out "labels" like "burnout". Check and see if "hypocrite" might fit you?
BTW.... the "I got stoned and I missed it" reference is for for a Dr. Hook song! The same guy who wrote, "She was only sixteen". Now are you going to accuse me of being a pedophile?

Not quite sure how your "stoned" post was supposed to be taken then...but if you say you're not a burnout ...I take you at your word. My apologies.

I've been around a while here. Haven't seen too many "Gods" or persons not willing to share. They don't last long anyway Over the years I have met and made many friends here.
This place to me is a "level playing field" play how you like. If you don't join in the spirit of the game mate ... go find somewhere else.
I'm not the referee, nobody is! I can post what I want, express opinions, ask for opinions and give advice if I so choose. Just don't get yer balls in a tangle when the flack come back!
Just be HUMBLE my friend ... Life is a learning process ... I'm 56 and still lots to learn (and teach) Nobody ... but I mean NOBODY is God here!
If you don't like the heat ... move away from the fire Best of luck elsewhere!

I'm gonna take the high road here and end my part in the "flame wars" here....it's probably innately human for us all to have differing opinions on almost everything.....and there's really no use perpetuating the idiocy that these wars take on.
So, I'll just let Doug's, and Chris's, and Old's comments hang out there for chuckles...but I will say this: After much deliberation, I think Old Paint is correct that Popeye might be GAY. I can't remember one episode where he and Olive Oil ....oh, never mind.

I have it on good authority that both of them used Olive Oil.
THis is a really gross thought. Popeye is about as American as any cartoon could be. Geez..........Is there nothing sacred left??

Thanks guys. Now I'll never be able to watch Popeye cartoons and look at him & Bluto the same way.
Could they be the forefathers of the ambigiously gay duo from saturday night live? hmmm. Perhaps SNL stole the idea for the duo from Popeye. Would that count as a parody or copywrite infringement?

HahaHahaHahahhahahah!!!!! You people are too funny. Kevin...if your feelings get hurt, let those who hurt them know, then get over it. Don't run away with your tail between your legs. This really is a great place. But you can see how the subject takes on a new twist the farther along it goes.
