A belated Happy New Year to all! I am desperately seeking assorted mounting hardwares for signs ranging from 18"x24" up to 4'x8' in size. All of the suppliers I use have come up empty. I have been using a local metal works fabricator and am pleased with the results, but custom work is expensive and I really need a more cost effective solution.

I currently am in need of 2 metal straps that would attach to the top of a double sided 2'x8' Alumalite sign and form a "U" around a pin that is already attached to a custom scroll bracket.

S hooks won't work but the same basic pricipals apply.

Thanks in advance!

A few years ago, I got a small roll of 3/4" wide stainless steel strapping used for pipes. I think I got it from either Grainger or McMaster Carr. It may come in 1" wide as well, dunno, but, would be worth the look.
I cut about a 6" strip, fold it in half and drill a 1/4" hole in the ends to accept a stainless bolt thru the MDO. A 4'x8' would need at the minimum of 4 hangers.
