I recently purchased another sign shop and lo and behold there was a pile of computer artwork with signlab files on them (.cdl). Is there a program out there that has can convert .cdl files that anyone knows of.

Kevin,

CDL is a SignLab proprietary format. Since you bought the shop, I assume that they were using SignLab and that you should have it there. If not, contact me and I'll be glad to help convert them for you since I have SignLab.

The next question is "convert them to what?" If you are using Gerber GA or Omega, it is best to export the CDL files to GAD. If you are using another program such as Flexi or whatever, then AI or EPS might be the better choice.

Hi Kevin

I'd be happy to help convert them, as well.

Lets here more about the sin shop you just bought...
