I've been thinking about upgrading the memory on the shop computer, so I went to OfficeMax last week and bought a 128 memory chip for $35.99. I looked at the reciept and it was 15.99 after an instant rebate! I went back a few days later and bought another one. Got 256mb ram for under $35.00. Now I'm up to 384mb ram. I wonder how I got by with 32 on my last computer. Cheers & have a great holidays.

A little while back, when all the virus stuff was going on I had to buy a new version of Norton Anti Virus, my version couldn't be updated. I paid $39 for it. A few weeks later I bought a 256 stick of memory for $39, I notice in little bitty letters in the bottom corner of the package FREE INSIDE... you got it Norton Anti Virus...DOH!!! Ya know, I keep waiting for the day my ship comes in, but with my luck the day it does come in I'll be at the airport

How much free disk space do you have on your hard-drive? If you have a lot that's ok. Programs like Photoshop recommend that you have twice the available disk space as you have ram in order for it to run right. I don't know what other programs do this but wouldn't hurt to set up that way anyhow. I recently added memory & when I found this out, had to re-adjust cache settings & primary/secondary partitions. If you have one drive, usually c, with lots of free space (mb's) then you should be ok.
