I have been doing a lot of 3d lettering projects recently. Two recent ones have been at outside sites where there is pedestrian traffic and the risk of someone riping letters off the wall (they make a great conversation piece in some college student's dorm room!)

I have been drilling holes in the concrete and installing the pinned letters with some silicone around the hole. Keeps the letter firm when it sets up buy does not make it vandel proof.

What other adhesives could I use to make this type of project more theif resistant? By the way I pin the letters in because the concrete block surface is uneven or because the sign spec says they are suppose to float off the wall.

How about 'builders bog'?? It's a two part resin, can take paint, sanding etc. adheres to most surfaces and is really strong. Any hardware store supplies it. Hope this helps.
