Corel Draw did it to me again today. When trying to open saved files, no listing of the files appears in the open file box. The words HTML PICS that usually comes up in the files box is gone. This happened to me once before,& I got the files back, probably by accident, & I'll be damned if I can remember how we did it. Any ideas?
Thanks for any info you can give us.

Hi Jim..What type of files are you trying to open...I have never seen a "HTML PICS" message. I usually have the "file type" set to "all file types" unless I want to open/import an EPS file.

Thanks for the reply dave. The HTML PICS deal comes up in the top bar, where you can pick a drive, c drive ETC. Dont ask me how it gets there in the first place, but when it's there we can access all our saved files, when it's not there like now no saved files show up in the open file box. Thanks

I do not know what you are talking about, but why do you not try this with Windows Explorer go to the location where you have your files made with CorelDRAW. Then open them from their location if everything is working fine just by double clicking a .cdr file it should start CorelDRAW and open the file.

Normally in corel 9 I just close that box that comes up when you open corel, then I click on file/open or control/o this brings up your files
you can click on the arrow box at the top and find your 3 1/2 floppy, your zip or your hard drive or cd and go from there, you can also click on file types and change to all files or what ever you want to single out to open.
