I always look at my lettering upside down to make sure it looks right!

What I get a kick out of is that EVERYTHING looks funny, and sometimes downright wrong, if you just study it long enough.
Like Ken's four words......

Not on the subject but a funny happening:
Called a customer today, who had insisted to spell her Restaurant's name
"Jacob's Seefood".
She said, "when people come in they see food. That's what that is all about, lady, and get over your hangups about spelling"
Oh, I said meekly, so it's not Seafood you're selling, like in fruits of the ocean?
Yes it is - she said - like I said, get over it.

Vacuum

Most of the people I have met who spell incorrectly look at what they wrote until they convince themselves it's wrong and start ADDING letters!

I once had a plumber that needed his "License" # on his job site signs. I checked all the spelling on the signs (30 of them) and delivered them. He insisted "License" was spelled wrong,( he said it was "licence") until I pulled out my drivers "license" and showed him the spelling.

Pierre,

You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Talking like that in a public forum is just plain WRONG!

Now go to your room.

Hey all...

My contributions to this posting would be "guard" and "guarantee". They just never look right, even after checking them out in the dictionary.

Have a great one!
