Hi everyone, I know you still see just Bob's pic here but this is Jen (by now the basket case) checking in. He is having a 5-7 bypass open heart surgery on Friday morning. He's calm and resigned to this and I am totally scared and trying to hold everything together here. I guess I just wanted to ask those of you who are religious for prayers and those of you who are not for your positive thoughts. (Steve, I would have called you but I know you are gone and didn't know how to reach you). Please think of us today. Thank you, Jennifer

We ask that you look after brother Bob in his time of need. We ask that You touch him with Your love and grace. Grant his family and loved ones peace and comfort them in these trying times.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Jen,
Dana and I wish you and yours peace and comfort. We pray for Bob's recovery and that things go well for him. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers today.
Have a great one!

Jennifer, I'm replying with a hearty AMEN to Bruce's prayer from my hospital bed. Sometimes the recovery is slow and others fast. Much is determined by blood loss. How are the kids doing with this? Support is necessary. Get well soon "Hollywood!"

Any of us that have been fortunate enough to meet Bob know him to be a kind and sharing person. Always willing to share his talent. I will keep Bob and the family in my thoughts and prayers.
Having recently been on the receiving end of a lot of prayers, I can honestly say that it feels good to have people praying for you. I also received so many get well cards that it looked like Christmas. What say we all send a card to Bob as well. This will do a lot to speed his recovery.

Hi everyone, Thank you so much for thinking of us and being so supportive. Bob's surgery was perfect with no complications. He had a 6-way bypass and they moved him out of ICU today. I want to say that when so many are praying for you and thinking of you, that you really can feel the love. He is on the road to recovery and if all goes well he can come home on Wednesday. I will keep you posted.
Rick Sacks, We are so glad to know your surgery went well and you are recovering as well. The kids were scared but okay. Josh didn't tell us, but we found his Indian medicine bag tied to Bob's overnight bag. And Becky spent a half hour with him the night before surgery talking and apologizing to him for all she put us through the last 3-4 years. She told him she just wanted him to know she loved him. She's been really great. I'd say prayers and positive thoughts are wonderful.
Bruce, Thank you.

I met Bob at several shows. One of the most inspirational sign & striping guys I know. I'm so happy to hear he came thru the surgery well and will continue to share his great wealth of knowledge for years to come. Get well soon Bob.

So, OK world, watch out! Bypass Bob will be breathing better and regaining his youthful vision and pulling longer and cleaner lines than ever before. I'll notify Andy Griffith. Can he just dial 1 800 BYPASS BOB?

Rick you are too funny. Karen, I'll be sure to let everyone know when you guys can call him. It is looking like he may get to come home as early as tomorrow. I can't believe it, after a 6-way bypass and home in four days? To all of us who have been praying and wishing for a speedy recovery, this is pretty incredible. He wasn't looking to great when I got there today, but after they gave him a painkiller he perked right up.

Thank God all is well with Bob. Tell him that I had a 6 bypass operation and it went well, so well that I was able to go to a Letterhead meet in England 4 weeks later. It is very important that he takes daily walks and listens to the doctors orders.
