One of the guys I work with does acrylic and watercolor painting for kicks.(pretty good too) He's working on a painting he's calling "Hillbilly hot rods" ... asked me if I could search the web (he's never touched a computer in his life) for some refrence pictures of an old fashion moonshine still. Well after a few hours of searching I came up blank. Could anyone be of any help?
Figure maybe one of you southern'rz might even have one out behind the concrete pond you could snap a picture of ... hahahahaha

Try imagining several barrels for fermenting mash then a cooker ,consisting of a round vat over a fire with a funnel shaped top & a coiled condensation tube coming out of that to a drip container for the end result of the process. Usually this apparatus is in a low area near a water source(spring/creek/brook}.Add a couple of down to earth type farmers & a good wood or fuel supply for the cooker. As the process is against federal law it usually is remotely located in a wooded area & the farmers carry firearms.I wouldn't advise taking any pictures they might not be to pleased with your efforts.

Hey Mark. Sending you some photos I found using moonshine still photos, and tennessee moonshine still photos. Sending them via my home address, and no viruses, as Norton scans it before I send it out. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys ... I knew someone might know something. Seems Timi might know a little too much ... haha Think you might get in trouble for transporting that apple brandy cross state lines Arvil Never came through John, I think my website mail might be screwy ... have to check into that.
I'm trying to get Gene (that's the guys name) to get me pictures so I can give him a page on my site ... soon hopefully. He's our color mixer guy (good printer too) at work and can quickly/accurately match any pms color in any ink armed with a pms book and a couple soup cans.
