I had bookmarked this site after seeing it mentioned here a few times. Today I scanned & uploaded a few characters and the results were so far off looking even remotely like my scan I wonder what I did wrong. My results showed all kinds of lightweight frail looking script fonts. Anyone know why that would happen? Of course the R being the only character which looks unique, could be customized from a more basic font, but I was still disapointed at the font matching feature seeming to be so in-effective.

If anyone here recognizes this or knows of something similar I'd like to know. I actually straightened it out for the "What the font" site, but this is what I've got:

I tried that site once and got the same results as you did. It's worthless.

What the font use to be an EXCELLENT Site , it used to work everytime, lately I noticed the way it sees the fonts has chagned dramaticaly with the fonts showing a shadowed letter next to them ,, this never was that way before, but I agree it now has seemed to change for the worse, I dont like the changes myself

that is one suck-ass basterdizing of that font whatever it is.

why do people show such font distortion cruelty? LOL

Carl,
I'm supposed to use same look on different copy (no R's) I already did my own makeshift basterdizing of eurostyle but the guy's like "Can't you just use that font?" like everything out there must be a font. Figured I'd make a minimum of effort to see if it was a font, since I'd thought I had seen such positive comments about "what the font" Guess it's time for round 2 of my very own distortion cruelty.

I believe that font is called "Earth Normal". I'll
post from the shop if that is not correct

Many thanks to you Beth!!
Got the font today, did the design work & quote for my client & landed a good job printing 6 mil heavy-duty clear die-cut decals for moto-cross fenders.

What a great resource full of great people we all have here! Thanks again to Steve & Barb.
