I am looking for a manufacturer that makes a metallic vinyl that closely resembles the colors I have posted.

My 2 local suppliers I deal with carry Avery and Gerber. It is not either of the 2.

This is a stripe on a Dodge Ram pick up I have to replace for a Body Shop.

I do not have catalogs for Avery, but I might suspect them. Also the material seemed to be an intermediate, but I am not positive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in Advance.

Hi, Bob,

The current Avery folder looks as tho' those colors might be either Mulberry or Iris and Cobalt Blue. Have to allow for the fact that the colors may not be true on a 'puter screen.

The other ? is this--- was this a factory graphic or after market? If aftermarket is there any way to find out who did it and his/her choice of colors?

It looks like Avery Patina and Lilac Radiance. We stock them both, but it's a little hard to tell from the pictures.

Hey, Bob,

This is embarrasing--it doesn't look as tho' Avery has any metallics in that new folder at all.

Sorry, my mistake.

Bob,

The colors Rosemary mentioned are from the Pearlescent Specialty Series on the color chart. I tend to agree with her that those match closer than the listed metallics. And picking Patina over Emerald off a monitor is not a call I would want to make.

Bill,

The Avery Z2000-S Color Selector has the metallics on the last left hand side page.

The Avery Z2001-S Color Selector has the metallics on the left hand side of the last “fold.”

Do you have a Color Selector newer than Z2001-S?

It only gets worse--- embarassment at my house is running rampant. I found the metallics where they were supposed to be in the Z2000s folder.

The pages were stuck together.

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Now, I'm goin' out in the garden and eat worms.
