I'm tired of the scipts on my computer...

"Commercial"

"Kestral"

"Murray Hill"

"Brush Script"

"Laser"

I want something with some "HEART"

Anyone got any suggestions? I've seen some of Behounicks stuff ...but where do I find them and any other good ones?

I'm not looking for freebys here so list all the good sites where I can find decent scripts!

As far as computer fonts I like Chicago and Snappy, you can tweak snappy , slant/extend and get a real loose whippy look.

i am not an "off tha brush guy like monte, george or terrance teague."

i have always been a pattern painter and believe me i know how to spread around medium(with a brush)
after 10 years as a billboard painter.

i have always relied on the overhead projector.

getting back to monte's post, i use the pen to make my script, it could be projected and hand painted or it could be cut out of vinyl.

i believe in mixing the mediums.

just my take...

Mark is right. These guys have some great fonts that everyone in Letterville should have on their computers.

We have talked to both many times about becoming Merchants here, but so far our efforts have been unsuccessful. They just can't see the value in becoming paying Merchants of Letterville.

When you contact these guys, please make them aware that Steve and Barb have once again allowed them a free plug on the BullBoard and that you would love to see them become paying Merchants here.

Hey Monte - I was in the same boat - - finally broke down & ordered the "Magic" - Mike Steven's font from SignDNA, Plus 4 more for 85 bucks or so, may have been 89. Well worth the money. Only thing is, you have to "weld" the letters together after you type in your copy - - no big deal in Graphixadv., otherwise, you have cut-lines overlapping. Check out the "Beansprout", also the Antonelli fonts (convex). Chicago is tough to beat. I had to do something, I was getting stale as Hell with my old standbys....Carl

For a brushy true type font you may already have tucked away somewhere, give Nevison Casual a good look. Pretty cool and not overused.
