How would you like to make your living selling film considering what is happening with digital cameras? Encad is a good move for Kodak.
I've heard that Encad has a new inkjet that prints on flat stock, and that is probably going to be the next industry trend.
The old industrial companies have not been especially successful when they go head to head with the newer technology companies. It will be interesting to see how it goes for Kodak.

The film guys are smart, they move where the technology and market goes. All the film folks produce and sell their own digital cameras, with higher profit margins and steadily increasing sales to boot.
