Anyone know what the cost is for Rolands new PC-12 Thermal printer..went to their site and didn't find anything. Does anyone have one???and what is your opinion??

It retails at $4995.....Holds 9 cartridges AND cuts.....comes with a RIP so you can print out of almost any program. I have one on the way from Roland for field evaluation. I'll keep the BB posted!

Got a PC12 here for eval... Second unit in two months, first one bit the big one... Problems: Registration on long runs (16"), repeating cuts and prints, effective use of cartridges (nada), banding, cutting, speed, odd media size(13"), I might be forgetting something...
Things that work: USB connectivity, doesn't take up much space...
