Way too much content on the front page, and you oughta move the links to the rest of your site towards the top of the page so they are more visible with less hunting required to find them.

If you want the search engines to pick up your site, scrap the java stuff because the search engines won't list your site with the java navigation. If the site is just for viewing by people you refer to it, it's fine as-is.

You might want to break your sample works up into categories so your visitors dont have to page through stuff they may not be interested in. Your web customers have the attention span of a snow pea so the sooner they can find the info they want the more likely you'll be to make the sale.. that is of course, if you want online sales.

I have to agree with the rest of the guys on the overwhelming sense one gets on viewing that first page!

I think it's a great idea for you to show pics of your staff, however the slide show gig you used works really slow and leaves us looking at scrambled colors for as long as it does one of the pics. Maybe you could put the three pics up there next to each other with the names underneath them. (So the browsing individual doesn't think you just photographed 3 guys hangin out at the QuickieMart or sompn. hahaha!)

Your work is done very well, and I agree with the others again, give it more attention. Mike Pipes is not kidding about the snow pea IQ's and the attention spans are so short! You have a lot of very nice verbage on the first page, but the serious buyers will read that, you couldn't hide it from them if you tried. Use the pics, to catch the eye!

You've done an absolutely beautiful job getting your your schtuff compiled, now re-arrange it on the table so it flows.

One thing that helps is to get a legal pad and make an outline, kind of like a table of contents. Work your links to make sure you can get anywhere from everywhere and make it simple for the person who pulls your page up to get where they want to go, without getting distracted by sompn they don't need to see until they are so worked up about calling you they can't stand it! hahaha!

your sample pages are excellent - they load quickly and its pretty easy to understand what to do next. my only suggestion for changing them is to change the project descriptions.

unless your customers are a LOT more sophistacated than mine, they probably don't know (or care) what Alumilite is. what they do want to know about is: how long did it take, what did it cost, how effective is it, how does the owner like it, and how long will it last. its only us sign folk who care about the products (and that's cuz we're used to seeing them described that way in the trade magazines).
