Is there any way to convert GA6.2 or Omega files to Adobe Illistrator files and NOT loose all the color fills & fades. Alot of my files are complex and I will always loose ALL colors and some outlines. Is there a work around? I want to convert some of these files for paper print HELP!

Karen,

Welcome aboard!

6.x – No way, not going to happen!

OMEGA-Possible, but may not consistently work the way you would like it to. Complexity of your file, version of AI selected, and other options will be a factor. Best thing is to understand the limitations and experiment a little bit to know what is and is not acceptable for your particular needs. Check out the Gerber FastFacts links below.

Would you be willing to expand a bit on your paper print remark? Would that be for large/grand format output? If so and you're running OMEGA, there may be a file you want to d/l and install from Gerber called G32xIMG.exe if you also supply raster based formats.

Hi Karen, I'm not a GA user, but can't you save them as .eps and then import them into Illustrator?
