In Mars, that is? Hi Heads...Talked to Joe C. (please don't ask me to spell your name, buddy) from Ct. yesterday, at length. What a veritable wellspring of useful info he is! He will be heading up the carving department in Mars next August. I am busy trying to find him an area other than the doctor's office or the bank! Mike Meyer has expressed an interest in teaching his hand-lettering class like he did at Waukesha. So far, that's 2 seminars...if anyone has any ideas for hosting some classes, or suggestions on what they would like to see happen in Mars, please let me know by email, fax, or phone. I want this to be the best meet yet!!! Thanks to everyone, and especially to Joe C. ! Love- JILL jillbean16002@netscape.net phone/fax 724-586-6923

Hey Jill, It was great to talk to you the other day! Folks, this kid has got the energy to pull this off in a big way! You know, maybe if we put a wish list of topics together, we might just be able to shake someone out of the bushes to make a presentation. What do you think? Wish real hard and it may come true. Everyone should help in some small way, this is the start. What would you like? How can I help? I can't wait to see everyone on MARS. Joe Cieslowski(Cieslow-Woodcutter)(Old Polish thing!)

Hey Jill, This is going to be easy! All we have to do is sit down with Felix, make some chips and we'll be all set! NO ONE ELSE WITH AN IDEA???? Instead of a presenter trying to figure out what you want, tell us what you want and then we'll try to find a presenter. Doesn't that make sense? A lot of folks are a little slow now. Think about new skills that will allow you to expand your niche and help prevent slow times in the future...grow your skills, grow your business. isn't that what this movement is all about. Learn to do those things that the technology can't do or it does poorly. Then they have to chase you instead of competing with you. Sorry for the lecture, but we need to get going here! Makin Chips! Joe

I'm with Rick! Make sure you have lots of room for us painters to be doing some panel jammin. A seminar on Layout should be a MUST. Hope this helps

Jill, try inviting some of the big names in the Letterheads, you can bet that many will follow just to see them work and work with them. Good luck, Joe is an excellent choice in the wood carving department. There are many good muralists and gold leaf people. Stripers and air brush specialists. Etc., etc.
