Hi folks, I'm finally working on my 8' Pennzoil bottle project. Since its been sitting around for a while now, it has a few golf ball size holes here & there. What should I fill these up with?

Felix, Take a very sharp knife or hole saw and plug the holes with the same styrofoam material then use a filler like you would with HDU. Just glue the well fit plugs into the new planned holes. The less filler the better. This will be much faster and better. The 2 part body filler would work also to fill the small gaps, but sands out much harder than its surrounding surfaces. Bronzeo

I don't know if you can use this info, since it's been more than a week. . . but the cheapest and easiest solution is white vinyl spackle, like "Red Devil", available at any hardware store! The hardened finished patch adheres well, and is amazingly similar in texture and weight to the styrofoam itself!

How about using a small amount of that GREAT STUFF foam sealer in a can and sanding it down to the shape you want...light weight and you can paint it
