Well now, we've all been warned about what to say, what not to say in a public forum such as this. The following url is worth a mention. (gulp!)

Donna, Big Brother is watching us more than ever with the internet traffic. I agree with most on the post that certain areas of our lives should be controlled entirely by us as individuals, not by what someone else can compile and distort into demeaning and harmful bios.

Hi Donna. I know....it is rather upsetting. We now have cable internet. We have only had it a couple of weeks. The other day I got a message from the abuse team.....saying we were either making or receiving 'probes' and that I should immediately get some virus protection (we already had some, but I downloaded another) and to download a firewall (which I did) So yes, somebody is watching....and it is not a good feeling!

All you have to do is do a search and you will find lots of references to things said on BBs. Ive found ones from here. Your email can be stored and read anywhere along the line. Here is a site in Canada that you can sign up for free encrpting and it sends with no way to trace your email. Unless of course, the Fbi went and made them indulge information, even then to get access to the key to encrpt they would have to confiscate your computer. You can send to anyone with this but to send in encrption for only the other party to read both have to have a public and private key. You dont even have to give them your real name or an email address. www.privacyx.com
This is the reason I objected to having to give our real names and addresses when posting here. Its a matter of privacy
