In a couple of weeks I'll be headed up the coast with a vanload of girl friends to spend a weekend at 'The Sea Ranch' (we rent this huge house looking out to the Pacific).

Me and one of the other girls are the artistic ones in our group and like to have some craft projects to do to remember our special weekend.

This time I thought I'd bring something really cool for us to do,that would be easy to make for anyone, maybe an ornament or gift.

(Maybe something using mica powders) I've got lots of celtic designs I could cut out of vinyl.....has to be easy, not too messy or require expensive materials.

Any ideas will be greatly apprieciated!!

Thanks!
Adrienne

The Sea Ranch area and Salt Point haxe an abundance of pine cones. There are also many branches and vines that could make wreaths. There are also lots of shell pieces and sand dollars. I've never seen wreaths fabricated from Celtic knot designs with shells and pine cone beads glued in place. These could also frame small mirrors. It would also require spending some time out of the house in some pretty parts of the landscape on a gathering mission.

We're looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks Rick...having spent most of my Christmas's at the Sea Ranch growing up, I've done a lot of sea shell crafts.

Hope to stop in to see you and Megan when we come up to Mendo for some shopping.
