I've seen the Pelucid topic on the BB a couple of times, and I know one of the merchants is on here regularly, but can't remember who it is... Kalispell, MT rings a bell.

I'm looking for feedback on a good sign finishing clear, I've heard and read good things about Pelucid, now where do I get it, how does it work, etc? I've been disappointed with the lifespan of some of finishes on a few signs that I've done a "follow-up" look at recently.

Thanks.

Hi! That's my Dad Pierre you're talking about. He's judging a shoot this morning, so I'll tell you where to go. Look at the website first at www.stmariegraphics.com and the go to the "Products" page. Read what he says there and then go to the bottom right and click on the "Clearcoats" thingie. If you come back here I'll answer anything I can for you. He should be back after 12:00. And we do sell it to sigh shops wholesale. We always have cases of it so I'm the one who ships it out.

Yup. That's my Punkin'. Right on the ball.
Let me add that Pelucid also works extremely well for weather encapsulating sandblasted wood signage too. Sometimes wood is forgotten anymore. Painted wood will stay painted.

I might add that it went over vinyl, lettering & background enamel equally well. Roll on with a foam roller, quickly feather with a brush. Three coats will make it bulletproof. Seal the lid on the can quickly, once air hits it you've got about a week or two before it's sets. At least here in humid Florida.
