Alright Jackson! Welcome aboard, I only have a 400mhz, I see now they are into a 1000mhz. Maybe I'm behind in time now, but it's ok long as it still works. Glad your'e having fun, so by all means keep your seat belt fastened as you operate that baby...

Now ya went and made me jealous! I too am limping along on my old beater 400. And only a little while ago I was in your shoes telling folks about my new speed machine!
O well, it still works. I'll just learn to draw faster and take breaks when the computer is too slow.
A new puter is on my wish list and Janis concedes that it is almost time. Porbably in late spring.
and thats ok cause I did order a new shop truck today and I'm told that has to keep me happy and satisfied for a while!
and it will.... I promissssse!!!!!!!
but maybe my old doorstop will blow up or something????
living in hope.

It has WindowsXP....it is so new that I am having trouble finding upgrades for several programs....like my Trackball Optical mouse...nothing on the web site yet.
Can't access archive radio programs because the new player won't acknowledge thier files.

Come on man, throw down some numbers. What ya got under that tower anyway. 1 Gigahertz is old news. you got a 1.8 or are they up to 2 gigs now?
When I bumped up from my 266 Mhz with 128 megs ram to 1000 Mhz with 512 megs I was laughin' too!
I havn't retired the 266 yet, but when I do I'll be looking for that same perma-grin your wearin' today from the shear G-forces of flyin' down the info. superhighway

bro the grin will last for approx 2.5 sec... thats how long it takes for the powers that be to bring out sumfin faster, bigger, better!
i remember when i got my 733 with 256m ram and 13gig h/d, i felt like i was flying. 1 month later my son rings me to tell me that he had an 850...grrr i just chucked a 30gig h/d and more ram in the sucker and felt better, for, like i said about 2.5 sec's
