I recently printed a flag 11.5" x 24" on Gerbervision (perferated vinyl). My customer applied it to the rear window of his Ford Expedition. He loved it!....until it rained. He said all of the tiny holes filled with rain water and blocked his vision of traffic behind him. The rear wiper had no effect on it. This window is fairly vertical. Is this the case with Gerbervision? Do bus windows, when wrapped, accumulate water during rainstorms and block passenger's views?

Sorry to say, but that is the only drawback to this material(gerbervision). I have a Mural of a Flag & Eagle w/ UNITED WE STAND & God Bless America on the rear of my chevy blazer and the same thing happens. One additional note: I put a flag on the rear window of my wife's car, she has a 93 Z-24. And the angle of here window alone made it very hard to see through the gerbervision. I can only imagine how had it would be to have window perf on a rear window of a trans-am or something like that.

I've read about the Summa Durachrome printing one-way window graphics on flat vinyl. It prints a layer of black behind the graphic leaving the "holes" unprinted (or something close to that). This supposedly works as well as the more expensive one-way film, but without the drawbacks of having actual holes in the vinyl.
I'm sure Jim at SummaDirect.com would help explain better.
