I have created some creases and wrinkles in Controltac print while installing. It must have been too hot at the time. Any suggestions? The print was purchased out of house and is much too expensive to rep[lace.

As we speak, I'm swallowing hard & getting ready to replace one. & I have it even worse, cause the people that used to have the scothcprinter lost it. I gotta order it from NY. Unless someone on the BB could give me a better price.
Yes, its expensive, but I have a reputation to keep.

Pat You can use some heat on the wrinkles.Heat em up and then use the handle end of a zakto knife like a roller to work em out.Be careful not to joog yer hand with the blade This is not 100% effective but it minimizes the wrinkles. You may need to punch some tiny holes to let air out. Next time...if its really hot..add an exter layer of application tape. This will stiffen the graphic and prevent wrinkles. I recommend Gregory,Inc for printed graphics.Good products.

We just had Gregory do a 6'X 5' graphic for us that we applied to a furniture delivery truck. They did a great job and charged us less than the local guy (who I can't stand anyway. Mister $39 banners).

Controltac film is repositionable so if you noticed it when you originally installed it you should have been able to lift the film off and reposition it.... you should have been able to see the wrinkle in the pre-mask.... if the premask looks wrinkled the graphic probably is!
