Does anyone have cuttable sandwich clipart? This is for a deli window. She asked for a corned beef sandwich, but I will take what I can get. A sub sandwich would be fine as well. If anyone can help me out I can be emailed at exmayors@aol.com. Thanks!!

tyler you got corel? lots of food clipart in there, also i keep tellin people ta go buy PRINT ARTIST $49.00 program. close to 200,000 pieces of clip art, and it has a "coloring book" print mode. find graphic you want, put on page, go to print, option, select coloring book, it will print in black, then scan that print into a trace program and wala cutable graphic...just to easy...

Tyler, this is painfully obvious, but - it's very helpful if you get proficient enough at drawing to sketch out your own art, scan it, and vectorize it. In the case of obscure or very specific art it can be a much quicker alternative than scouring clipart libraries. (What if the client wanted Swiss cheese showing on the sandwich with a tomato wedge toothpicked to the top?). And you can charge more for it!

Joe, that is the case for some jobs, but not this one. This is one of those clients who wants it cheap. She just wants a sandwich, which is a pretty common item.. I can handle scanning in drawings and stuff and vectorizing them and all that no problem

But the time to hunt it down and say this is common Artwork or your Artwork will only destroy your holdings(All copyrights)
Design It and Scan to output! Now you own copyright. To your customer--You don't like it or the price is to high! Tell them (I have all rights to ownership of it and if it is sold to someone else (Too Bad!))
Great learning curve as well as file format for future work. I have a lot of customers that ask for portraits of animals. Well if I don't like it (I won't pay for it!) Not a problem! But I own it and will sell it to someone else if the price is right! Sorry it's still my Artwork for sale on the market!

Good Tyler, I'm glad you can handle it. And I think my statement is still valid. If you spent more than 15 minutes looking for a suitable clip, then abandoning that and crafting a BB topic, than tracking the topic - you could have been done by now.
It can be tricky knowing when to bail out and do it yourself. I spent almost 10 minutes just yesterday looking for clipart of a stupid pair of scissors and a comb. After five minutes that nagging voice went off in the back of my head saying "what are you doing?". Luckily I found them pretty quick, but I still think I went past the point of smart into the realm of luck or sheer stubbornness. The stupidest thing is I didn't even find the right kind of scissors in clipart, but in my own personal files of art that I have made and saved over the years. Sometimes those clipart libraries can just make you mad.
