I am looking for a mirror gold aluminum substrate laminated to gatorfoam or it's equivalent. I know of a couple of suppliers that can supply Ultraboard or similar products but, they have 6 sheet minimums. I need only one. Suppliers that will sell only one are too far away to justify shipping costs.
I am forced to laminate my own,any tips or suggestions for properly laminating sheets that will be routed? What type of glue works best? Is there an indoor and outdoor grade adhesive? Do you brush, roll, spray or squeegee the adhesive?
I would try to use contact cement used for doing countertops or such. The stuff sticks too well to itself. Just a thought.
I would roller out a coat on each side of the materials, Let them set up according to the directions. Use a J roller to roll the pieces together. I would think that you will need another set of hands to help.
Just my thoughts...
Have a great one!

Hiya Bryan, I, like the others would use contact cement. I'd do a test first, just to make sure the glue does not attack the foam. There is a special roller that's made for applying contact cement. I would suggest using the special roller and following the directions. If you don't have the extra hands available, use can use strips of cardboard, wooden dowels (my favorite) or I've even heard of people using old blinds to act as a slip sheet between the two substrates. This will allow for some positioning before you make contact. Like Bruce & Si mentioned, once the two substrates make contact, they're stuck for good. Good luck with this one & be sure to take pictures. Havin' fun, Checkers

The best contact cement I ever used...... Barge Cement. We used to glue outdoor carpet pieces on the bottom side of our waders which we wore when fishing slippery Adirondack streams for elusive Brook Trout. The carpet gives a nice "grab" on mossy ,slick rocks. The carpet would wear out after many miles but the glue never failed. If it was necessary to re-carpet...we had to grind the worn out carpet off with a heavy body grinder.Barge Cement is almost bulletproof! Its hard to find.......but worth the look.
