Hawhawhawhawhaw......good one John! I remember MANY times dippin' the ole paint brush in my coffee instead of the paint can......got to be a joke with my friends who liked to watch.

And paint brush in coffee is just about par for the course. Oh those little oily rings floating on the surface...could I.. would I.. drink it anyway...?

Tell you what guys. Ever so often I'll throw one up here to lighten up the place a little. I'll even make em sign related so it'll be more personal. With an occasional off sign topic toon. That is if Steve don't mind. Heck, I could go through some old posts and come up with all kinds of stuff, I think. Anyway, thanks for the comments. This place is full of great people.

keep em coming john! i have been a fan of john deaton cartoons since i saw the first one.
john created a cartoon when i got a speeding ticket rushing over to pick up a check. (45 in a 25 mile an hour speed zone, just my luck, i paid more for the speeding ticket than the signjob check i picked up.
with humor, you eased the pain john.LOL
i own the original, it is one of my most prized "sign" possessions, it is matted and framed.
