Just wanted to pass this on to anybody else who uses a VE cutter (lynx or ultra-pro). Somebody on the board (can't remember just who) pointed me to the gcc website (the manufacturer of ve cutters), and I found a driver that allows you to cut from corel, ai, etc...
It works great, flawlessly actually, and I haven't used the software that came with my plotter since. You can setup all your cutter options right in the 'printer' dialogue (downforce, speed, etc...).
