I have a large print that was given to me by a customer so I could make a nice frame for it.
It is 33" x 38" and printed on AGFA film (I think maybe backlit film, but not sure). It was laminated with a textured film.
Here's the problem: It has about five bad bubble spots about 1-2" wide in some spots!
I already told the customer (who is a ding dong for paying $800 for a print and then rolling it up to leave in a hot FL garage) that I didn't think I could fix it. But it bothers me. Looks cheap.
Anyway, I haven't work with laminated things before so any suggestions will be appreciated!!

A local shop that does laminating showed me what she does. She takes a very fine needle and gently pokes a tiny tiny hole in the bubble. Then she takes a hair drier and gently warms the bubble, causing the air in the bubble to expand and push itself out through the hole. She lets the bubble cool on it own a bit. She does this back and forth a few times until the bubble is tiny enough to work down with the thumb without stretching or distorting the laminate.
I don't think its 100% effective; but from what she's shown me, it seems to work fairly well.
