Hi all, Hey after meeting Marv Renter (& drooling with his work) in Waukesha last August, I'm wondering if we're gonna read about him in a sign mag.

BTW, the "Letterhead Lodge" photo shown in AMAL was awesome!

Best of luck to Marv & to all!

Hey Felix,

I talked to Marve at the meet about doing a profile on him. He left me with the impression he wanted to try to write his own article.
Marve struck me as a very "creative control" person. And you are right, the world should see his work. He is very, very good. I enjoyed my visit with him at the meet.

Just FYI:
An established writer has a better chance of landing a profile article about a sign shop, or sign person, then that shop has their foot in the door with the magazine and can work towards writing their own articles.

When its the magazine's idea, that's when the call comes in. That's how I got started. For years, I submitted work, and never got much attention. Then one day the call came about the Church Cathedral Renovation we were involved in.
I got my foot in the door, and keeping it there is challenging
