It's nice to be back, have spent some time in the "wilderness" but fortunately I am enjoying my trade again,. Used to run a shop in town with up to 7 people working with me, felt trapped on a roller coaster that I couldnt stop. (Very nearly cost us our marriage) We moved to our "new" home here on the banks of the Burnett River, we call it "River Art Studios" and I work with my wonderful wife, "Annie" and sometimes I can even bribe my kids to give me a hand. This is fabulous, I love this trade, hard to make decent buck consistently, but I wouldn't swap with anyone. I have kitted out my truck so I can work mobile, different place almost every day and sometimes it's nice to work here listening to the kookaburras laughing at my stuff-ups.
I was reading the replies to Brians post (unregistered) and I realised that I am back amongst genuine people who want to share, encourage and assist where ever possible. I congratulate you all and feel very honoured to be a part of this fantastic site.
My web page should be up soon , so I will let you know when.
Rob

What is not included on my web pages are the wonderful memories in my head of sharing time together with great people. OK well WALKING several kilometers through town and back streets one night because Rob didn't have a vehicle available at the time wasn't one of the more fonder memories but I think the conversation was good. Well except for when we were in that nightclub/pub and couldn't hear ourselves think but that's another chapter...
Have ya still got my hat?
I'm glad to hear you're back into it Rob - you've got a great talent. And I'm not referring to your memory. Don't forget the brushes mate :-)
If I was a bit more flush I'd be there at that wallnuts meet... :-( maybe next time.
Great hearing from ya on here again Rob!
Be sure to click on the next page that the link brings you to for a pic of Rob the man hisself in person
