It's no surprise to regular readers of the BullBoard, that Dave Gundy owns the Fish. From the time I posted to the time he e-mailed me 1 hour and 42 minutes. One more time. ATTA BOY DAVE!!!!!

Right Steve!!! You we're the 7th person to answer correctly. Incidently, all who have responded have been correct.

Steve, I think Einstien forgot to factor in something. I don't think he realized that some people would see it through because it was a challange. Many people seemed to enjoy the challenge aspect, I know I did. Yep, I think Mr. E should have gone to Dr. Freud for a little consultation on human nature. He might have ajdusted that 2% to something a little more reasonable.

Hmmmm....I have a problem with the odds here on only 2% being able to get the correct answer. Before you even establish who lives in each color house, (which I haven't even tried to do yet)you have a 20% (1 in 5) chance of getting it right with a random guess. One clue eliminates the Swede entirely because he owns a dog, reducing the odds to 25% (or 1 in 4) with a random guess. It's hard to believe only 2% would get it right with odds like that. (assuming there is only one correct answer)

What do you expect? Do you think Einstien was some kind of a genius?
I think you're right he obviously mis-calculated the percentage. The process of elimination works smoothly in this case and there is only 1 answer. True it was stated in a different era, but 2% seems quite low.

OOPS! After further review on the wording in this riddle, Albert was probably right. It may even be closer to 1%. It's a trick question. E-mail me and I'll explain it. I don't think anyone has gotten the right answer. jt@jt-graphicdesign.com
