Well Terry since I stopped drinking, smoking pot, doing pills and shooting heroin, I relieve work stress by relaxing around the bonfire here in Letterville. At least I can start saving money now for all my legal prescriptions. Y'know I never had felt the pain or the work stress during my ol'lifestyle.

Sit on the couch for a sec take of my boots because my dogs are barkin mosy on over to the fridge grab a frosty pint glass out of the freezer pull a cold Sammy's (Sam Adams Boston Lager)out of fridge crack the top slowly poor as not to build to much of a head sip and repeat. When that ones gone get a new fosty glass and start all over and I'm a Happy man. On Ocaasion when money is plentiful there is something to be said about a good single malt scotch. Mmm Mmm Good.

Our Friday at 4:00pm ritual is a Coors Light or a Molson Canadian. I'm thinking of changing this to like, the Wednesday night ritual 'cause I promise everything for "the end of the week" making Friday at 4:00 the busiest time at the shop. We're always hiding the bottles as clients come in. Man, the place would run a lot smoother if it weren't for customers!

I get this manure chomping grin all over my face reading this, and no longer wonder just why oh why through the ages Sign Men / Walldogs have had the reputation of being tipplers and having a steady hand anyway.
There are of course degrees, and exceptions, and therefore the rule is validated, I'm just having fun going down the row of posts, so don't jump down my throat...
As for an old has-been like me, I’ve been there and done that, and for over ten years now I have celebrated with just putting my feet up without also bending the elbow to lift a drink.

Just a cold sodie water here. There is no such thing as "pop" or "sodas". If you are going to have a soft drink in Texas you are going to have a "coke", whether it is a Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, Sprite, etc.
It's a good thing that I don't like the taste of alcohol - I would probably be a drunk.

ahh... a pale, crisp, golden concoction of Bohemian malt, water and aromatic Saaz hops, fermented to approximately 5% alcohol, chilled, aged, bottled, and transported all the way from Havlicek in the Czech Republic to my local packy, for the extremely reasonable sum of $5.99 a six-pack. Or at times, a glass of fine Irish barley, malted, roasted, and distilled by those lovely folks at Jameson's in Midleton, County Cork, served over ice with a splash of water.
And down at the local, after dinner, the barman pours a fine pint of Guinness, pride of Dublin, coal black with a perfect creamy head, and I raise my glass in salute to free trade. Slainte!

When I use to drink, it was an ice cold Canadian style caesar, made with Mott's Clamato Juice (not tomato juice!) and celery salt (not coarse salt!)on the rim.
These days, it's a freshly brewed cuppa columbia coffee. Better yet, a large Tim Hortons, double cream, single sugar.
