Hi Heads,

I live 1/2 mile away from a busy truck stop. I always zip through the lot to see if there are any neat lettering jobs. There is at least one neat lettering job amongst the 100 or so trucks, but this job blew me away.

I just wanted to share. Check out the amount of SIGNGOLD on this trailer....its staggers my imagination!

ENJOY!

O my... Glad that Im not paying the bill for that Sign Gold!!! They did a pretty good job of lining all the swirls up it looks like.. I take it as that those letters are larger than the normal stock width (24"), or do you think that they specail ordered a bigger size....

Thanks for sharin

Jeoff,

The Signgold is paneled (and overlapped a 1/4" in horizontal pieces. SIGNGOLD's name is on the back of the trailer....they probably donated the gold, but thats a guess.

The paint is very smooth to touch. There is a clear coat over the paint job, which is probably the automotive paint that is advertised.

This racing team is "Richie The Kid"...never heard of him, but there was a web address on the truck.

http://richiethekidstevens.com

Some of the work on the trailor is inkjet prints or edge prints...there is a huge "HOUSE OF KOLORS" logo on both sides that is a digital print.

That guy is from New Orleans, I remember seeing several of their cars at a show several years ago, they all were first class...I think the family own a paint and body shop...whomever did it should be proud of it.

Joey,

That didn't make much sense to me either when I reread it so I took it out.

Richie Stevens runs a NHRA Pro Stock car.
Typically these are close to million dollar operations. Some less, most more
He is sponsored by Valspar (obviously). A little over a year ago Valspar bought House of Colors.

Cool job.

I guess I'm just old and it's a sign of the times but a digital print of the HOK scarab?
The impressive part of this job to me is the fact that it's clear coated. Clearing a semi is a feat in itself, the trailer, now there's a real challange.
