I'm doing a vinyl tire cover and would like to do the pictorial in acrylics because of the durability and fade resistance. Also, I'm used to it for detailed painting. Would you prep the cover with anything or just hit it with the acrylics

Ingrid & Joe,
Ticote works very well as a prep for painting over vinyl. I believe it seals the vinyl & have found it to adhere very well. It dries quick, topcoat in 2 hrs. I would cover the entire tire cover, as you might see the clear depending on the color of the vinyl.
Good Luck
