My son Bob and I started Bob Loves Signs in 1989. What began as a "one day" vinyl shop evolved into a full service commercial sign shop specializing in architectural and ADA compliant signs.
During the big tech boom, Bob decided that his destiny was to be found in real estate, and out he went to seek his fortune. Father and son are on good terms - he just didn't love signs like his old man did.
Along the way I discovered broadband internet and connected with Jack Wills via Letterheads. The new dream became anchorblanks. Bob Loves Signs was quietly placed on the market.
As of today, Bob Loves Signs belongs to an enthusiastic young (33) man with a plan. After his orientation is complete, I will be 100% anchorblanks.
In view of the events of the last few weeks, it doesn't seem appropriate to celebrate very much. Is it possible to be sad, happy, grateful, and angry all at once?
In any event, I will continue to hang out here.
This site has been and continues to be a source of recreation, education and opportunity for me.

Victor, my friend, we all grieve the events of Sept 11th, but not going on with our lives and successfully pursuing our rights as Americans..we are giving the enemy victory.
I am getting back to business as usual, going on with life, getting back to laughing but never forgetting the past.
The best revenge is to be 'US'....the people of this great nation!!!
God Bless you and your son, Bob....and if I'm invited, I'll be there to celebrate with ya!!

Victor, and Adrienne, I feel the same way, and that is to be positive and proceed on with life, only, with full respect and consideration toward our brothers and sisters that are suffering. Business is necessary to survive and I believe that we can still have some peace and happiness, yet maybe hold back on some of the things that aren't really necessary, wasteful or too flamboyant at a time like this. I guess it is a gradual process and we need to keep a good reign on our actions but through our actions and good health, we will radiate a positive force to others to thrive upon. We must laugh at somethings, or we will explode. I feel that laughter and joy doesn't necessarily mean that we find things funny with no respect toward others; it may just symbolize the balance of our psyches to fight the forces of negativity. We also must take into consideration that we must maintain this healthiness of the mind to fight the battles we have ahead of us.

OK Vic, I have some Q's. Wasn't Bob's home based? Will the new kid work from your house, or move everything? Are you agreeing to non-comp terms? Are things set up so that if you ever required to repo the name there will be anything left to reclaim? Will the new kid sell your blanks? What's Jack's current email address?
