This is probably something that many others have done all along but I just dreamed it up yesterday. I had to load 4 finished 4x8x3/4 MDO panels into the van yesterday. Even with two people it can be a delicate job loading and stacking these things without damaging the finished surface. What we did was load the first one and then set a vinyl core on it at the back end. Loaded the next one onto the core and rolled it into the van. Once it was in position just lifted the back end so that Shirl could pull out the roller and slide in of scrap pieces of coroplast as separators. Loaded and unloaded all four sheets of MDO without so much as a smudge and definitly without any strained backs from lifting while leaned over!

Neat Trick! Must try it Another little tip to add to this post ... To cut down on the amount of packing between the panels (we use old blankets & sheets) stack the second one face down etc ... you dont need to have packing between that and the third one face up etc.

Neat idea! And , I guess that blanket idear would work better than making the kids lay between the signs.
but here is another tip you heard me tell before:
It was windy today here in Illinois, and I had an outside graphix install on a semi truck. To stiffen the truck lettering graphic, I used 3 layers of application tape!
Made it stiff as plywood! Went on the truck slicker than snot on a round door knob.
Bad news is that I lettered the wrong truck!

When the kids were real little, I'd wrap a sign in the packing blanket and the kids asked what I was doing. To their querry I responded, "Shhhhhh....the sign is taking a nao!"
