Had a 3000 for 3 years now, they were great in their day, a bit slow now. Output is pretty good, you can put all sorts of stuff through them. The rubber band that drives the main roller stripped out a couple of times, check to see if yours has the newer gear drive installed. Watch out for the starwheels on backlit films...ask for the "retractable starwheel kit" Kept the old 3000 & bought a 5000, better faster more expensive etc etc
