I understand your feeling like "no good deed goes unpunished"...but it sure was cool seeing the results at the "Duck Soup Meet". Didn't you think?
Nice job Coop.

That banner is one of the coolest things about being a letterhead and I hpope that we can do more of them in future years. Sure there were many debacles in the life of this banner. But i dont think that there is a person involved with it that doesnt think all those minor setbacks destroyed the purpose of it or would have made them not want to be a part of it. Perhaps we can start another one sometime soon, maybe I will even volunteer to start it, once I get a bit better in my newfound lettering skills. Maybe if I am lucky one of our wonderful vendors on this site would send a large enough banner for me to begin one on and designate one volunteer from each state to somewhat babysit that banner while its in their state and maybe allow each state a week to get as many signatures as possible. of course somehow limiting how much space each state has to fill, maybe divide the banner into 50 sections thus designating one section for each state. of course some states will have only a few names and other states will have dozens of names so I dont think that will work so well but its a concept anyway. Maybe what I can do is paint a HUGE bannner with a map of the US and then just sign the banner over top of your state.
My mind is wandering and I'm dreaming, maybe I should go to bed instead. Anyway it is an idea.
