When I signed up for this bullboard it was to learn all I could about signmaking. Not to vent my anger,my politicl or religious beleifs, or to call anyone names or to bad mouth anyone.

I deeply regret the events of the last few days, but its done, let those in charge handle the responses, let's move on with our lives & each & eveyone of us become a better person. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am.

Let's all unite & get this board back on topic. I'm tired of all this bull**** name calling & so forth.
That's it.
Larry

Pay no attention to us Larry. It does happen sometimes, but all in all, this is THE GREATEST board for our craft on the net. You'll pick up more here than you can believe. Lots of great people here, and connections to all kinds of suppliers and dealers.

There wasn't no name calling at the Duck Soup this weekend.Although there were people with different personalities and belives.Shown in the form of how many different panels can be made with the Duck Soup Theme!
So if I am reading Larry right here.Everyone needs to conform to his way of thinking, and throw individuality out the window!!!!
Sounds like Helvetica Medium to me.
Hope this helps with the question asked...or was that an individual statement being made?

The only help coming from your answer to an un-asked question is that you help Larry make his point. At least his post had his individual views of why he's here, what he wants to move on to, & what bull**** he's tired of.

What was yours about?

I'd like to see the board back on topic, but I see all of us distracted by current events, soon our collective work & passion for our work will move out front again. Until then I think the topic of this thread is not bad mouthing each other in the process.

Larry

Thanks for the call to reason again.

While the insanity of this past week has brought out the best in many Americans it has also made most of us very angry which has spilled out here on this board too unfortunately. Sometimes at each other.

None here are the enemy. We are all brothers and sisters. We have to remember that always.

This board is about all the stuff in our lives and this week Bin Lada and his hate had a huge effect on us all.

While it will be a long while before things return to normal, (if ever) I too look forward to normal conversation and friendship, the things I come to this board for.

That same friendship, love of the craft and all is still here and will return soon I'm sure.

Welcome to the board and we look forward to many more posts.

I have been on this board for a short time now. This past week has stirred many emotions. Some of those emotions will subside and the board will go back to somewhat normal. That said, There has been plenty of name calling on this board when it comes to our craft. This weeks events stirred nothing new. I have said it before and I'll say it now. We are a diverse crowd of people. A cross section of the United States and the World. We will never all agree on everything. And if forced to we might as well just all start using Helvetica Medium like Pat said. All and all this board is full of a great group of people. All who are looking at this situation from their own angle. This is what makes us free and this is what makes the US a great place to live. I don't hate anyone on this board. I choose not to deal with some personalities and attitudes from time to time and at times I have fired right back. Sometimes I regret it and sometimes I don't. But in the end I still feel this is a cool place to hang out. Give everyone time to vent and we will surely get back to the buisness at hand. Thanks for your time.
