This has been the day from hell!!! and im sure that it is not over now, or in the very near future.
I Work in the Medical Field Full time, and work doing signs as an added income. I am putting a call out to all the letter heads that come here to do me and the Bombing Victims a BIG FAVOR.
The blood supply in the new york area is starting to run low. You are being asked by myself to go to the AMERICAN RED CROSS or your local BLOOD BANK, or your local hospital and give a pint of blood.
The blood is going to be needed for a long time to come. To let you know, the average person that is considered a trauma with internal injurys, will need on an average of 9 pints of blood. I myself have seen over 30 pints of blood be used on just one person in a mater of a hour.
So please, please, please, Go and give just one pint of blood, and think of it as your way to help out with this disaster.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all that have responed to this message.
You may only think that a small pint of blood won't go a long way, but you will be supprized!!!
If your unable to go this week, don't forget that the blood supplies in your area are going to be drained, and low. So don't forget that we will also need donations later down the road.

I went by this morning. There was a huge line. I spoke to the technician and she asked some of us to wait until next week. Something about wanting to stagger the supply intake instead of all at once. I'm not sure why, but I'm rescheduled for next Friday afternoon.
