You are right. My son came in a while ago and told me that I had best gas up now. He was at a local refinery and says that he is very concerned about the price of fuel jumping up. He also says that the opportunists will jack the prices up whether needed or not.
The possibility of further problems has the entire oil industry on alert. He said the plant he was at today is on full security alert. Sunday he was to fly out to Los Angeles to a plant there, but has informed his employers that they will rent him a vehicle to drive or he is not going. My son is not an alarmist but says we should be prepared in case the U.S. retaliates. In which case there will be more terrorist attacts here in the states.
I want to go to Duck Soup in the worst way. Tomorrow we should know more. I don't want to panic or be controlled by the events of today, but many folks had no choice did they?

Here in Missouri gas has jumped to $4.99 already at a few places. Local news states that these are just mongers taking advantage of the situation. Gas prices could very well be affected, but not that quick.
It seem such a shame if that is the case.

Hey Brian, Pacific and Eureka were my old stomping grounds.. lived in Eureka..
IF there are stations chargin $5/gal report them to the Attorney General and they'll be prosecuted.. I know those refineries in that area are shut down for repairs but there's no way they can get away with $5/gallon!!
