Yesterday I visited a new flooring store soon to open here. I quickly learned there is more happening than CARPET-VINYL-TILE-HARDWOOD. There are all kinds of environmentally sound and eco-sensitive and non-allergenic materials to choose from that look great and are durable. Bamboo floors. Carpeting made from seaweed. Cork.Did you know linoleum was made from clay and linseed oil? Well, I need to write copy for tag lines to surround the building on the glass.
I'm intrigued by the newness of these product lines.

I made signs for a beauty salon that had all environmentally friendly non allergic materials inside. It was pretty cool I thought!

Ken, what do you know about carpets made from sea grass and floors made from cork and bamboo? What hip lines could you use to entice new agers into the show room?

When asked to help name a business or create copy such as tag lines, I approach it the same way I do logo development.

Get out a pad and pencil. Just start writing everything that comes into your head. Try everything from the simplest to the complex. Think of it as word play. Just do line after line until you have several excellent ideas.

Be sure to document your start and stop time for billing purposes. Also keep your notes in case there is some question as to the time you put in.

Actually never dealt with sea grass before, but I have done the cork and bamboo floors, the cork floor looks like wood tiles and has a spongee feel you could probably drop a glass and not break it. The bamboo I did was a wierd texture almost like lino but very difficult to install, its also supose to be quite durable
